Answer:

B) The justices listen to oral arguments from both sides.

Explanation:

When the supreme court begins a case, the judge not only hears oral arguments of the two parties and testimonies necessary for the solution of the case, but also solves any problems that prevent him from sentencing him. That is, it is a hearing that aims to prepare the process so that an appropriate solution can be worked out, or even to propose agreements in some cases

<em><u>The justices listen to oral arguments from both sides. </u></em>

Further Explanation:

The Court hears a case for 30 minutes from each side. Only in exceptional cases, the time limit is extended. As the judicial workload increases the time available has been cut short. In 2010, the Supreme Court initiated the process ofrecordingthe cases and posting them. 70 to 80 cases are heard each year or early. The Justice asks questions directly to the attorney.

The courtroom setting is open to the public. The courts can also make audio. The attorney highlights important arguments. Arguments are heard on the specific days like on Monday and the two consecutive days further.

The proceedings generally start at 10 A.M. The days on which the cases and arguments are heard is specified in the courts yearly calendar. The oral argument transcripts are also utilized that are put on the site on that day. The transcripts are subjected to further review later. These transcripts are scanned from the Court’s Library. The third method is audio recordings of the arguments which are open to public after end of the argument week. They are generally posted on Fridays. The public can also download these audio files and then listen to the recordings that are posted on the website. These recordings are mentioned by case name and date of the hearing.

Bond [772]

An Antonym is a word opposite in meaning to another word, and this definition applies mainly adjectives although some other words such as: adverbs, verbs, and even abstract nouns also have antonyms.

Antonyms enrich our vocabulary providing multiple perspectives when communicating ideas.

Now, a synonym for the word Antonym is "<em>contrasting</em>" or "<em>contrastive</em>"

Thereby, the above statement can be completed like this:

<em>"</em><em>Contrasting/Contrastive </em><em>words such as ‘similar/different and problem/solution' help students organize important information in textbooks."</em>
