Answer:

The dimensions of the sides of the fruit stand are 3.5 feet , 2.0 feet  and 3.2 feet. Option B is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given information: \angle A=35^{\circ}, \angle B=65^{\circ} and c=3.5ft.

According to the angle sum property of a triangle, the sum of all interior angles of a triangle is 180 degree.

\angle A+\angle B+\angle C=180^{\circ}

35^{\circ}+65^{\circ}+\angle C=180^{\circ}

\angle C=180^{\circ}-100^{\circ}

\angle C=80^{\circ}

According to Law of sines

\frac{a}{\sin A}=\frac{b}{\sin B}=\frac{c}{\sin C}

\frac{a}{\sin A}=\frac{c}{\sin C}

\frac{a}{\sin 35}=\frac{3.5}{\sin 80}

a=\frac{3.5}{\sin 80}\times \sin 35

a=2.04

a\approx 2.0

\frac{b}{\sin B}=\frac{c}{\sin C}

\frac{b}{\sin 65}=\frac{3.5}{\sin 80}

b=\frac{3.5}{\sin 80}\times \sin 65

b=3.22

b\approx 3.2

Therefore the dimensions of the sides of the fruit stand are 3.5 feet , 2.0 feet  and 3.2 feet. Option B is correct.

Is 8/10 mile longer than 1/2
seropon [69]
Yes because if you find common denominators (in this case, "10") you would have to compare 8/10 to 5/10. 8>5 so 8/10 is longer than 1/2.

ALL I NEED HELP WITH IS WITH PART D, HOW DO I GET THAT
Sauron [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1:  Factor the equation</u>

f(x) = -16x^{2} + 22x + 3\\f(x) = -(8x + 1)(2x - 3)

<u>Step 2:  Find the x-intercepts of the graph of f(x)</u>

<u />-8x - 1 + 1 = 0 + 1\\-8x / -8 = 1 / -8\\x = -1/8

2x - 3 + 3 = 0 + 3\\2x / 2 = 3 / 2\\x = 3/2

<u>Step 3:  Describe the end behavior of the graph of f(x)</u>

Since the function is to the power of 2, that means that it is a parabola.  And since the leading coefficient is negative, means that the arrows will be pointing down therefore, the end behavior of this graph is as x goes to infinity, f(x) goes to negative infinity and as x goes to negative infinity, f(x) goes to negative infinity.

<u>Step 4:  What are the steps you would use to graph f(x)</u>

The first step that I would do is factor the equation.  Then I would find the x-intercepts of the graph and plot them on the graph.  I would then plug in 0 for all of the x values to get the y intercept.  After doing that I would get the vertex using the vertex formula plotting it on the graph.  Finally, I would connect all of the dots together to form the graph of the equation.
