in a recipe for double chocolate every 1/2 cup of milk calls for 2 cups of chocolate. if the recipe were increased to include 4 cups of chocolate, how much milk would be needed?

$2x = 4 \times \frac{1}{2} \\ 2x = 2 \\ x = 1$
1 cup of milk would be needed.
