<span>The other man says in the story that they don't have time, but i personally don't think the other man would ever actually hold him ransom because like you said all they needed was money for food.

</span><span>Their motivation is probably external considering hunger was the reason for mugging the man. </span>

Being young is overrated. Being old is underrated. Being in the middle is middle-rated. Resist being made and seen as a cartoon of a human. You are fully human and just right for your age and perfect for who you are at every moment all the time throughout your life.
