Answer:

That statement is false

Explanation:

Consequentialists tend to believe that the outcome that happened to a certain parson only occurs because of that person's action.

There is a popular disagreement among that group. One one hand,  they believe that the moral properties that is held by individuals personally took part in influencing the outcome of their life. On the other hand, they believe that personal moral properties do not play any influence since it will be override by the moral standard imposed by higher being (Diety)

Imagine you are about to do field research in a specific place for a set time. Instead of thinking about the topic of study itse
Vika [28.1K]

1. Many sacrifices will be made as it will be necessary for me to stay away from my family and friends, which may be a little lonely for the duration of the research. It may also be necessary for me to live in a place that is not very comfortable and has fewer resources that I am used to. It may be that the place where the research will be carried out has a very different geography and climate from the place where I live, which may generate even more discomforts for me, such as very high or very low temperatures.

2. Ideally, I should take few personal belongings, so I don't have to spend a lot of time managing them and focus my time on doing the research. However, my management must be around the most necessary personal items, which I could not live without.

3. This will depend on the research and what it is evaluating, but I can guarantee that computers and organizational systems will be needed through spreadsheets and software that remain the tabulation of the collected data, their storage and optimization.

The theory of deterrence rests on a number of assumptions including
givi [52]

Answer:

The correct answer is d) people have to perceive consequences as unpleasant and act rationally.

Explanation:

Deterrence theory states that preventing crime is possible only by effects of the threat of punishment, relying on the assumption that humans are motivated to avoid pain and obtain pleasure. Thus, deterrence can dissuade a criminal from taking action, based solely on a credible and certain threat of punishment. This psychological assumption is linked to rational choice theories.

The deterrence theory also states that severity of punishment will do little to deter crime and that certainty of punishment has a greater impact on crime deterrence than severity.
