Explanation:

According to the article there are so many problems with the mono-culture are:-

1.Soil erosion

2.Loss of genetic diversity

3.Increased Pesticide use

4.No crop rotation increases fertilizer use

5.Fossil fuel energy replace muscle power

The major problem of mono-culture farming is the variety of species. Mono-culture where the same species is grown year after year, soil structure and quality is poor.  It disrupts the natural makeup of the soil and contributes further to nutrient depletion. Mono-culture also creates diseases, which have to be treated with yet more chemicals.

One of the major problems of monoculture farming is the variety of species. If there are no varieties in the producer level in the food chain all other organisms within the ecosystem would be affected.

What two things can alter the shape and function of an enzyme
mars1129 [50]

Temperature can cause an enzymes shape and function to alter due to the fact that once an enzyme reaches its optimum level, if it goes over it begins to denature. If the temperature is below optimum, then an enzyme will work at a slower rate.  Also, the pH can affect an enzyme.

why do some scientists theorize that global warming might not be the result of increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide
PtichkaEL [24]

Explanation:

In Earth’s history before the Industrial Revolution, Earth’s climate changed due to natural causes not related to human activity. Most often, global climate has changed because of variations in sunlight. Tiny wobbles in Earth’s orbit altered when and where sunlight falls on Earth’s surface. Variations in the Sun itself have alternately increased and decreased the amount of solar energy reaching Earth. Volcanic eruptions have generated particles that reflect sunlight, brightening the planet and cooling the climate. Volcanic activity has also, in the deep past, increased greenhouse gases over millions of years, contributing to episodes of global warming
