S + n = 350.....s = 350 - n
s + 2n = 450

350 - n + 2n = 450
n = 450 - 350
n = 100 <=== there were 100 non-student tickets sold

100 POINTS PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
love history [14]

Answer:

A: 68.25 minutes

B: 12 times

C: 42 mins and you decide this part I actually don't know. But I think it could be reasonable, after 40 times someone should get pretty good at it.

Step-by-step explanation:

a: 72 -0.75*5 = 68.25

b: M=63=72-0.75n

subtract 72 from each side: -9 = -0.75n

divide each side by -0.75: n = 12

so 12 times

c: 72 - 0.75(40) = 42 minutes. Now this could be is reasonable, but we don't know what their desert is. But 40 times is a lot of practice.

Find the area of a sector with a central angle of 170° and a radius of 17 millimeters. Round to the nearest tenth. Question 9 op
Marat540 [252]

Answer:

428.7 mm²

Step-by-step explanation:

The area (A) of the sector is calculated as

A = area of circle × fraction of circle

   = πr² × \frac{170}{360}

   = π × 17² × \frac{17}{36}

   = 289π × \frac{17}{36}

   = \frac{289(17)\pi }{36} ≈ 428.7 mm²

Sandra normally takes 2 hours to drive from her house to her grandparents' house driving her usual speed. However, on one partic
Rudiy27

Answer:

Her usual driving speed is 38 miles per hour.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that:

s = \frac{d}{t}

In which s is the speed, in miles per hour, d is the distance, in miles, and t is the time, in hours.

We have that:

At speed s, she takes two hours to drive. So

s = \frac{d}{2}

d = 2s

However, on one particular trip, after 40% of the drive, she had to reduce her speed by 30 miles per hour, driving at this slower speed for the rest of the trip. This particular trip took her 228 minutes.

228 minutes is 3.8 hours. So

0.4s + 0.6(s - 30) = \frac{d}{3.8}

So

3.8(0.4s + 0.6s - 18) = d

3.8s - 68.4 = 2s

1.8s = 68.4

s = 38

Her usual driving speed is 38 miles per hour.
