Well, energy is lost every time the pyramid goes up, as shown on the pyramid picture. So producers get 100% of the energy, but when it’s consumed by the first consumer the consumer only obtain 10% of the energy, the second consumer eats the first consumer it only obtains 1% of the original energy, and so on. So there isn’t enough energy available at the top of the pyramid to to sustain a whole lot of organisms.

How do chemosyntheic organisms get energy
hichkok12 [17]

Answer:

Chemosynthesis is a process by which energy is derived via the microbial mediation of certain chemical reactions. There are more hydrogen atoms in living organisms than any other atom, but oxygen is more abundant in terms of mass. Why is this
Aleksandr-060686 [28]
Hydrogen and oxygen are often found in the form of H2O but even if hydrogen surpasses oxygène in number it doesn't when it comes to mass because M(O) = approximately x16 M(H)

What are mendelian genetic used for
Lelu [443]

Answer:

Mendel first observed the different patterns of gene segregation for selected traits in garden peas and was able to determine probabilities of recurrence of a trait for subsequent generations and analyses of large families with many affected individuals can be used to determine whether a disease-associated gene is located on an autosome or on a sex chromosome, and whether the related disease phenotype is dominant or recessive.
