Jim is the daytime supervisor for an automobile assembly line. He supervises 45 people who perform relatively routine jobs that

require minimal training. The shop is unionized, so Jim has little latitude when it comes to dismissing poor performers. However, he does have the authority to transfer employees and has been known to reassign poor performers to less desirable jobs on the assembly line. Jim has a reputation for only transferring employees with just cause, and generally is viewed as a fair supervisor by his employees. Although he would like greater autonomy to determine salaries, Jim generally divides bonuses and raises equally among his employees. To do otherwise would likely create conflict with union members and representatives. According to Fiedler's model, how would Jim's leader-member relations be described?

Answer:

It would be described as good

Explanation:

Fiedler’s Contingency Theory of Leadership states that the effectiveness of your leadership is measured by how well it matches situations, it also states that there is no "the one way to lead", leadership is determined by the situation, and you put yourself in the scale you have to describe the co-worker with whom you like working the least. Here Jim is a fair person that teats his co-workers in a standardized way.

What are the three main areas of public policy?.
serg [7]

The three categories of public policies are those that regulate, limit, and facilitate.

What is public policy?

Public policy is an institutionalised plan or a chosen set of features like laws, rules, guidelines, and actions to solve or address topical and real-world problems. It is regulated by a thought and commonly carried out through programmes. Public policy is a set of guidelines, directives, plans of action, and budgetary priorities affecting a particular topic that have been developed by a governmental entity or its representatives.

The following are some more strong justifications for studying public policy: to gain knowledge on how to impact public policy for the benefit of society. to create creative responses to difficult problems. to acquire the ability to view problems from a variety of angles.

What is the role of public policy and who creates public policy?

Public policy is focused on the choices that have an impact on how a political system functions, such as those that have an impact on public health care, education, and the organisation of the armed forces.

Even if ideas originate from outside of government or through interactions between government and the public, governments ultimately make policy.

To adapt to the culture of your new home is known as: brainwashing. Americanization. assimilation. urbanization.
Zolol [24]
This is assimilation!

Americanisation means to make something more American, but this can also happen if you are not in fact in America, as in: America is not your home.

Urbanisation is the mass movement from the rural areas to urban areas.

Brainwashing is when someone uses extreme techniques to influence other's opinions. (such as psychological manipulation)
