The correct answer is D.

The Fourth Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights.

It prohibits unreasonable searches and seizure. According to the Amendment, the people have a right ' to feel secure in their own persons, houses, papers and effects'.

The Amendment sets requirements for using warrants. All issued warrants must be issued by a judge or magistrate, justify the probable cause and be supported by oath of affirmation. They must also describe the place that is about to be searched, or the person to be seized.

The police must obtain a search warrant before entering a property. If evidence is collected without a valid warrant, it is considered unconstitutional and not allowed in court.

There are some exception to this rule.

il63 [147K]

Answer:

That argument is an example of a falacy masquerading as a valid inference.

Explanation:

Fallacy means error, deception or falsehood. Usually a fallacy is a misconception that is conveyed as true, misleading others. On the other hand, when an argument conveying a true idea is used to derive a false conclusion from false assumptions, the inference is valid.

Based on this, we can conclude that the argument quoted in the above question is a fallacy disguised as valid inference, because the speaker of the argument provides the information as a true statement, but it is wrong to draw conclusions about how Anthony will react after his accident, based on how other people reacted.
