Answer:

Find the explanation below.

Explanation:

1. He drew the contrasts between death and rebirth when he explained that the contact which the new generation of children have with nature is dying. He explained that there is a possibility of a rebirth of wonder and joy where man can begin his meaningful interaction with nature.

Evidence from the text:

My sons may yet experience what author Bill McKibben has called "the end of nature," the final sadness of a world where there is no escaping man. But there is another possibility: not the end of nature, but the rebirth of wonder and even joy.

2. He drew a contrast between being broken and healing when he explained that the bond between the young and nature was broke. He also explained that nature did have a therapeutic effect as seen from some studies. Making it a point to heal the bond between the young people and nature would be beneficial to all.

Evidence from the text:

Yet, at the very moment that the bond is breaking between the young and the natural world, a growing body of research links our mental, physical, and spiritual health directly to our association with nature—in positive ways.

Reducing that deficit—healing the broken bond between our young and nature—is in our self-interest, not only because aesthetics or justice demands it, but also because our mental, physical, and spiritual health depends upon it.

Using the chart you previously created, explain in approximately 100 words how the Declaration of Independence and the Declarati
puteri [66]

The two documents were similar in that both demanded the promotion of rights, presented grievances, had a political nature, and started with the same sentence.

What were the Declaration of Independence and the Declaration of Sentiments?

 • The Declaration of Independence was the document that demanded independence from the English colonies in America.
 • The Declaration of Sentiments was the document that demanded the creation and respect of civil rights for women.

Both documents complained of how their supporters were being harmed by an existing political system and for that reason, demanded that this system be changed, as the harm caused by it could not be tolerated.

Furthermore, both documents begin with the sentence "When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary..."

What is a false dilemma?
katovenus [111]

A false dilemma is a type of informal fallacy in which something is falsely claimed to be an "either/or" situation, when in fact there is at least one additional option.

The false dilemma fallacy can also arise simply by accidental omission of additional options rather than by deliberate deception. For example, "Stacey spoke out against capitalism, therefore she must be a communist" (she may be neither capitalist nor communist). "Roger opposed an atheist argument against Christianity, so he must be a Christian" (When it's assumed the opposition by itself means he's a Christian). Roger might be an atheist who disagrees with the logic of some particular argument against Christianity. Additionally, it can be the result of habitual tendency, whatever the cause, to view the world with limited sets of options.

Some philosophers and scholars believe that "unless a distinction can be made rigorous and precise it isn't really a distinction". An exception is analytic philosopher John Searle, who called it an incorrect assumption that produces false dichotomies.Searle insists that "it is a condition of the adequacy of a precise theory of an indeterminate phenomenon that it should precisely characterize that phenomenon as indeterminate; and a distinction is no less a distinction for allowing for a family of related, marginal, diverging cases."Similarly, when two options are presented, they often are, although not always, two extreme points on some spectrum of possibilities; this may lend credence to the larger argument by giving the impression that the options are mutually exclusive of each other, even though they need not be. Furthermore, the options in false dichotomies typically are presented as being collectively exhaustive, in which case the fallacy may be overcome, or at least weakened, by considering other possibilities, or perhaps by considering a whole spectrum of possibilities, as in fuzzy logic.
