Seed dormancy allows for a seed to germinate only when the conditions are right to support the germination and growth of the plant. This adaptation, therefore, increases the chances of survival for the plant. Natural selection, which powers evolution, will always favor desirable traits which will be entrenched in a population through successive generations.
Raw materials (reactants) used for photosynthesis are Carbon Dioxide and Water. These are the same substances which are the product of respiration.
This molecule is called the transfer Ribonucleic acid (tRNA).
The trasnfer RNA is a type of RNA molecule that helps decode a messenger RNA (mRNA) sequence into a protein. The tRNAs function at specific sites in the ribosome during translation, which is the process that synthesizes a protein from an mRNA molecule, that contains the codons.
Answer:
The quality of life is dependent on the quality of the environment in which the organism lives in. An ecosystem is made up of biotic and abiotic components which are interrelated.
For example, the quality of the water resources of an ecosystem would affect the quality of the humans that live in there. Although an ecosystem could have a lot of water, this does not mean that the water is usable as a source for hydration, which is needed by humans. If the quality of the water is bad, like it is polluted or contaminated, this would not make it a good source for drinking water, which affects the quality of life.
Another would be the availablity of clean and breathable air. Trees are our sources for oxygen and they filter out carbon dioxide in the air naturally as components of their own food making process. The decrease or lack of trees would mean that there would be less production of oxygen for humans to take in.
