The Japanese were almost “sneaky” in their attack on Pearl Harbor, but when Harry Truman became president in 1945 the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima made them desperate seeing as they were the United States enemies and didn’t have this kind of advanced technology yet, at the time.
