The answer is A: a university site showing the results of a study on which foods absorb chemicals.

The source of option A provides the most reliable information for Jena's research because the university site is not only presenting an opinion or suggestion about the subject, but it is showing the results of a study about the relation of the chemicals, the foods and absorbency conditions etc. A blog, a wiki and a website will probably have to use the same information in order to write their articles.

Arturiano [62]

We can actually deduce here that the above is not a good paraphrase of Mary McLeod Bethune's passage because: D: It's the writer's own version of the text.

What is paraphrasing?

Paraphrasing is actually known to be a process of restating a block of text, passage or paragraph in one's own words without altering the message in the original material.

Summary is also seen as an example of paraphrasing.

It should be noted that whenever one is paraphrasing, it is very important to retain the main points stated in the original. If the main points are not retained, then the writer has written his own version.

Thus, we see that the selected answer above is not a good paraphrase of Mary McLeod Bethune's passage.

What is the best way to write the words in bold in sentence 7? (7) His first major find was discovery of the planet Uranus in 17
torisob [31]

Answer:

You failed to provide any bold-faced words, so all I can do is correct the sentence as it should be written.

His first major find was the discovery of the planet Uranus in 1781 .

Add the word 'the' and a period as shown. And, technically, if Uranus is already understood to the listener/reader, then the word 'planet' is redundant.

Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

They both use the first-person point of view.

Explanation:

Autobiographies and memoirs share a lot of simmilarities. Both of these texts use the first-person point of view. This is because both texts are written by a person who wants to talk about his own life and experiences. Moreover, both types of texts relate the events of a person's life from a subjective point of view. Therefore, they are heavily personal, with a strong element of detail and emotion.
