Answer: The correct answer for the fill in the blank is conveys; interprets.

Th nervous system is broadly divided into two branches that is Central nervous system ( made up of brain and spinal cord) and peripheral nervous system, which is made up of nerves leaving brain and spinal cord and travelling the rest of the body.

PNS ( peripheral nervous system) receives information ( through sensory division), which is originally gathered by the sensory receptors of the body and send it to the CNS ( central nervous system). The CNS thus interprets the information and gives appropriate response.

Therefore, PNS conveys messages and CNS interprets them.

-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

the maximum population size that a particular environment can support.

Explanation:

A population can be defined as the total number of living organisms living together in a particular place and sharing certain characteristics in common.

Generally, these populations may be divided into a fraction of the population (subpopulation) based on certain factors and reasons.

Population regulation can be defined as a biological process that balances limiting factors affecting the growth of a population based on density. The factors that regulate the growth of a population are divided into two (2) main categories and these includes;

I. Density-independent factors.

II. Density-dependent factors.

Density-dependent are regulating factors such as predation, diseases, and competition that affect the size of the population of living organisms through decreasing or increasing mortality and birth rate.

Furthermore, density-independent factors do not have an increasingly greater effect as a population's density increases. Thus, its effect are reduced as a population's density increases in size.

Carrying capacity is the maximum population size that a particular environment can support. The carrying capacity of an environment is denoted by the letter k.

rjkz [21]
The exchange of genetic material between non-sister chromatids that may result in new gene combinations on the chromosomes is called the random assortment. It involves formation of random combinations of chromosomes in meiosis and of genes on different pairs of homologous chromosomes by the passage according to the laws of probability of one of each diploid pair of homologous chromosomes into each gamete independently to each other pair.
