Identify the sentence that includes a prepositional phrase functioning as an adjective.
lisov135 [29]

A prepositional phrase takes on the role of an adjective when it comes after and describes a noun or pronoun.

What makes a sentence contain a prepositional phrase?

A prepositional phrase is one that has a preposition at the beginning and a noun or pronoun at the end. "In our house," "between pals," and "since the conflict" are a few examples of prepositional phrases.

Nouns are modified (described) by adjectives. Adjectives provide the reader with more detailed information regarding an object's color, size, shape, material, and other characteristics.

Sometimes a prepositional phrase might be understood as an adverbial phrase modifying the verb or as an adjective phrase modifying the noun it comes after. It is typically regarded as an adjective phrase in this situation. Sunlight is abundant for the plant in the window. (Names the plant.)

Describe a sentence that has two prepositional phrases.

Looking for her puppy is the woman with the blue coat. The words "in the blue coat" and "for her dog" are two examples of prepositional phrases. A prepositional phrase starts with one of the prepositions "in" or "for," and it finishes with a noun.

Write a letter to your district chief executive telling him/ her three problem facing my locality
Katen [24]

Answer:

Letter to the District Chief Executive about three problem in my locality.

Explanation:

ABC Apartments

.................

To,

The District Chief Executive

....................

3 May 2016

Subject: Problems faced by residents of ABC Apartment complex.

Dear Sir,

It is with a deep concern for the welfare of the community that I am writing to you about several issues that are presently affecting our locality.

First are the damaged roads and street lights, which leave the roads dark and dangerous at night. There have been numerous accidents that were at times too extreme.

Secondly, there's the issue of water shortage which has left many of the residents unable to even prepare their meals on time. Some are even left to cook their meals with bottled water from the shops, which is expensive.

And thirdly, I would also like to point out the issue of the garbage collection system. Recently, the collectors have stopped coming to our locality, leaving residents unable to dispose of their wastes and stinking the whole area. This has also led to an increase in mosquitoes which is dangerous for us all.

I hope this letter gets your attention. We are looking forward to any response or solution from the concerned authorities.

Thank you.

Regards,

Mr. Ashish Sharma
