tire process for establishing a set of equations, the solution, and an explanation of what the solution means in terms of the variables. Follow the process for establishing a set of equations: Choose a variable to represent one of the unknowns. Express the remaining unknowns in terms of the variable you chose in step 1. Look for a relationship between the unknowns given in the problem. Write an equation. (Look for the other relationship given in the problem.) Answer: 4x + x = 35 or 5x = 35

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the short side of triangle is x unit,

Thus, According to the question,

The other longer sides are 2x and 2x,

Thus, the perimeter of the isosceles triangle = 2(2x) + x = 4x + x

But, the perimeter of the triangle = 35 inches,

⇒ 4x + x = 35

⇒ 5x = 35

⇒ x = 7

Therefore, the measurement longer sides of the triangle = 2x = 2×7 = 14 inches

And the measurement of the shorter side = x = 7 inches

Tema [17]
Choice A has the lowest unit rate.

Choice A: 0.298 per oz.
Choice B: 0.2991 per oz.

You want to know how much each individual ounce costs, so you divide the price by the ounces to see how much each ounce costs.

1.49 divided by 5 is 0.298
3.59 divided by 12 is 0.29166...

Use the number 913,256. write the period that has the digits 913
AleksandrR [38]
Basically when reading the value of a digit we start from the right.
Digits from the right to the left are named as follows:
units......>no zeros/digits after them
tens......> 1 zero/digit after the digit
hundreds.......> 2 zeros/digits after the digit
thousands......> 3 zeros/digits after the digit
ten thousands.......> 4 zeros/digits after the digit
hundred thousands.........> 5 zeros/digits after the digit
million........> 6 zeros/digits after the digit

Applying this concept to the above mentioned number, we will find that the period containing "913" is called nine hundred and thirteen thousands.
