Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer: 3

Discussion:

The perimeter of a polygon is the sum of the side lengths.

Perimeter of top polygon is (x+2) + 2x + (x + 2) + (4x + 1) = 8x + 5

Perimeter of bottom triangle is 4x + 2x + (3x+2 ) = 9x + 2

The perimeters are the same when

8x + 5 = 9x + 2

Subtract 8x from both sides:

5 = (9x - 8x) + 2 or

5 = x + 2

Subtract 2 from each side to get x = 3:

5 -2 = 3 = x

The perimeter of either figure is 29

Find the lateral area the regular pyramid

L. A. =
Taya2010 [7]
We know that
lateral area=3*[area of a equilateral triangle]
Applying the law of sines to calculate the area of a equilateral triangle
Area=(1/2)*a*b*sin C
a=4
b=4
C=60 degrees
area equilateral triangle=0.5*4*4*sin 60-----> 0.5*4*4*√3/2---> 4√3 units²
lateral area=3*[4√3]----> 12√3 units²

the answer is
12√3 units²

1 gallon = 231 in3, 1 inch = 2.54 cm)
Stella [2.4K]
1 gallon = 231 in
1 inch = 2.54 cm

Honestly, I would say it will fill up because if your solving for the amount of centimeters in a gallon then the gallon would fill up. It just makes sense to me, don't know if it's correct because what I did was take the amount of centimeters in a inch and multiply it by the total amount of inches in a gallon.

Plz help it’s du in like 1 hour
Zinaida [17]
FIRST METHOD
From the frequency table, X stands for the number and F stands for the number of time that a particular number occur.
So, if we break the table down, we are going to have the following numbers:
1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4.
The total number of occurrence = Addition of F = 10
Mean = [Summation of all occurrence] / Number of occurrence
Mean = [1+1+2+ 2+3 +3 +3 +3 +3 + 4] / 10 = 25 /10 = 2.5
Therefore, mean = 2.5

SECOND METHOD
Mean = [ 1*2] + [2* 2] + [3 * 5] + [4*1] / [2+ 2 + 5+ 1]
Mean = 2 + 4 + 15 + 4 / 10 = 25 / 10 2.5
Therefore, Mean = 2.5
