La cigarra le dijo a la hormiga que se relajara, pero la hormiga le dijo que no. Entonces la cigarra siguió cantando. En invierno, la cigarra estaba vagando por el campo en busca de su vecina para preguntarle donde conseguía comida. La cigarra le pidió a la hormiga que le diera comida, la hormiga le dijo que no, porque ella no había aprovechado su tiempo solo se dedicó a cantar y no trabajó para asegurar su comida.
