In biology, the Linnaean system was one of the first system used to classified living organisms, this was proposed by Carl Linnaeus in 1735 and included three main kingdoms: the plant kingdom, the animal kingdom and finally the mineral kingdom that classified not living materials. On the other hand, the Whittaker system of classification was proposed in 1969 by Robert H. Whittaker who based on new knowledge proposed a system with five kingdoms: the plant kingdom, the animal kingdom, the monera kingdom, the protist kingdom, and the fungi kingdom. Considering this, it can be concluded the kingdoms that are included in both Linnaean and Whittaker systems of classification are plant and animal kingdoms.
