Answer:

The maximum is 3350$

Step-by-step explanation:

As carpenter he earns 35$ per hours

As web design he earns 75$ per hours.

We know that 75>35, so for maximum earning he need to work as web designer more.

He wants to vork as a carpenter at least 10h in week and he worls 50h per week. So for a maximum he works as web designer 50-10=40 hours.

So c=10 and w=40

The equation is:

35c+75w=35*10+75*40=350+3000=3350$

 The midpoint of the points ( 4, 5.5 ) and ( 4, 10.5 ) is the center of the circle:
 C =(\frac{4+4}{2}, \frac{5.5+10.5}{2})
 C = ( 4, 8 ),  h=4, k=8
 r =\sqrt{(4-4)^{2} +(8-5.5)^{2} } = \sqrt{0+2.5^{2} }
 r = 2.5
 The equation of the circle in standard form:
 ( x - h )² + ( y - k )² = r²
 ( x - 4 )² + ( y - 8 ) = 6.25

Subtract and simplify.
Anestetic [448]
(y^2-7y-5)-(-3y^2+3y-4)
=y^2-7y-5+3y^2-3y+4
=3y^2+y^2-7y-3y-5+4
=4y^2-10y-1

In short, the answer would be 4y^2-10y-1 (Option D).

Hope this helps !

The height above the surface of the Earth (in meters) of a rock thrown into the air at 10 m/s after x seconds is given by f(x)
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

Rock travels about 8.2x²meters higher on the moon than on the Earth.

Step-by-step explanation:

Expression showing the height of a rock thrown into the air at Earth is,

f(x) = -9.8x² + 10x + 1.5

Similarly, expression showing the height of rock thrown on the moon is,

g(x) = -1.6x² + 10x + 1.5

Difference in the height of the rock thrown on moon = g(x) - f(x)

= (-1.6x² + 10x + 1.5) - ( -9.8x² + 10x + 1.5)

= -1.6x² + 9.8x² + 10x - 10x + 1.5 - 1.5

= 8.2x²

Therefore, rock travels about 8.2x²meters higher on the moon than on the Earth.
