Answer:

She will make $232.1 in all over 4 weeks.

Step-by-step explanation:

Lucy's lemonade stand has increasing profit each week = 10%

Her profit for the initial week = $50.00

here the profit earned in every week will make a geometrical sequence.

In this sequence first term (a) = $50

and the common ratio (r) =  (1+\frac{10}{100}) = 1.1

sum of n terms of this sequence = \frac{a(r^n-1)}{r-1}

by substituting the values,

=\frac{50[(1.1)^4-1]}{1.1-1}

=\frac{50(1.4641-1)}{0.1}

=\frac{50(0.4641)}{0.1}

=\frac{23.205}{0.1}

= 232.05 ≈ $232.1

She will make $232.1 in all over 4 weeks.

One number is 7 times another number. The product of the two numbers is 252. Find the two numbers.
Nitella [24]

Step-by-step explanation:

x =7y ----(1)

xy=252 ----(2)

(1) into (2):

(7y)(y) = 252

7 {y}^{2}  = 252 \\ 7y =  \sqrt{252}

7y=15.874....

y=2.27

y value into (1)

x= 7(2.268)

x=15.87

the two numbers are 15.87 and 2.27 (Ans)

Answer:

(I rotated the trapezoid on the origin)

T' (-2, 2)

R' (-2, 5)

A' (-6, 2)

P' (-7, 5)

Step-by-step explanation:

The original points of the trapezoid were (2, -2), (2, -5), (6, -2) and (7, -5). Flipping trapezoid TRAP on the origin has the x and y coordinates showing their opposites from the original. So, find the opposite of each x and y coordinate to get the coordinates of the rotated trapezoid T'R'A'P'.
