Answer:

She was expelled from school for pouring a bowl of chili on a racist boy's head.

Explanation:

Minnijean Brown is an African American activist. She was one of Little Rock Nine, a group of nine African American teenager students who in 1957 were admitted extraordinarily to a white-only school, the Little Rock Central High School.

Minnijean, still an activist, was suspended from school after only three months, in December 1957, for pouring a bowl full of chili on white students, after many of them discriminated her.

As an adult and after getting married, Minnijean continued to be an activist for the protection of minority rights. She lived in Canada between 1980 and 1990, involved in the activism of some students at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, after graduating from Carleton University in Ottawa. Recently, Minnijean moved to Little Rock again, where she lives with her mother and sister.

What was the purpose of mercantillism during the late 17th century and early 18th century? * The mother country controlled trade
Sveta_85 [38]

Answer:

The mother country controlled trade and exported more than imported

Explanation:

The British Empire came up with a strategy to keep their economy quite healthy with a system called mercantilism. The colonies of the British were the ones making money for the mother country and they put restrictions on how the colonies should spend their monies.

The British put certain taxes on goods that were brought into the country to discourage that practice and this made the colonies to buy goods that were only made by the British and not that of the European countries.

Humans are in bondage to ignorance and illusion, but are able to escape. Purpose is to gain release from rebirth, or at least a
Schach [20]

Answer:

The above is demonstrated in Hinduism

Explanation:

Release from Rebirth here means release from reincarnation in Hinduism which is the occurrence whereby a soul occupies another body to return to biological life after a previous biological death. Hinduists believe this is a bondage or punishment for a life not well lived. And so for a soul to move on after death without returning by reincarnation then this soul has lived well and moves on to be rewarded. Freedom from reincarnation(Samsara) in Hinduism is called Moksha which is the liberation from the continuous cycle of death and rebirth. The Ultimate goal in Hinduism is to attain Moksha.
