Answer:

Cell respiration requires oxygen and glucose. Cellular respiration can be described as a process in which organisms convert sugars such as glucose and oxygen into water and carbon dioxide. A huge amount of energy in the form of ATP is generated through this process. This ATP is used by almost every cell of an organism to carry out its normal activities like metabolism, growth etc.

The oxygen used in cellular respiration usually arises from the atmosphere. Glucose comes from the food that an organism eats.
