Answer: mitosis vs meiosis (the real answer down)

Explanation: In cell biology, mitosis  is a part of the cell cycle when replicated chromosomes are separated into two new nuclei. Cell division gives rise to genetically identical cells in which the number of chromosomes is maintained. In general, mitosis  is preceded by the S stage of interphase  and is often accompanied or followed by cytokinesis, which divides the cytoplasm, organelles and cell membrane into two new cells containing roughly equal shares of these cellular components. Mitosis and cytokinesis together define the mitotic  phase of an animal cell cycle—the division of the mother cell into two daughter cells genetically identical to each other.

The process of mitosis is divided into stages corresponding to the completion of one set of activities and the start of the next. These stages are prophase, prometaphase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. During mitosis, the chromosomes, which have already duplicated, condense and attach to spindle fibers that pull one copy of each chromosome to opposite sides of the cell. The result is two genetically identical daughter nuclei. The rest of the cell may then continue to divide by cytokinesis to produce two daughter cells. Other errors during mitosis can induce apoptosis  or cause mutations. on the other hand, In cell biology, mitosis  is a part of the cell cycle when replicated chromosomes are separated into two new nuclei. Why do you think weather scientists use percentages instead of saying “it will definitely rain today”?
grigory [225]

Answer:

Right now, I am in college for climatology, but before I decided on climatology, I was taking classes in Meteorology, the study of weather. So, I will answer your question. All meteorologists like to be right, but since the weather is so spontaneous, it is really hard to be right. Meteorologists use percentages because it helps them be professional. Also, because, different parts of the region where they are may or may not get the rain. I don't know where you are from, but I will use my hometown. In McAlester, Oklahoma, there may be a 70% chance of rain, but in another part of the region at Tulsa, Oklahoma ( which is 91 miles north of McAlester) there may be a 40% chance of rain. The difference in the percentages can vary from how stable the environment is, altitude, location, and terrain. That is two of the reasons why Meteorologists use percentages to predict weather.

As a rule of thumb, in order to improve the reliability and accuracy of an experiment, it is best if the experiment is repeated several times. The increased number of trials ensures that the readings observed have minimal random error.
