Nutka1998 [239]
Hi!

Imagine a rectangle with a width of 20 inches, and a height of 16. Find the length around the rectangle (the perimeter).

16+20+16+20=72

There are 12 inches in a feet. How many feet are in 72 inches?

72/12=6

Lana needs 6 feet of ribbon. She bought 7 feet.

7-6=1

It is enough ribbon.
1 foot will be leftover.

Hope this helps! :)

KATRIN_1 [288]

Answer:

Your answer is C, 10.7cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The two flat sides of the figure are 3 cm, so that part of the perimeter = 6cm

3cm is the radius of what would be a whole circle. We'll calculate the circumference, then divide by 4.

Circumference = (2)(pi)(r)

C = (2)(3.14)(3)

C = 18.84

18.84/4 = 4.71

Add 4.71 to the 6 cm above, = 10.71

Let me know if you have questions about this.
