Answer:

The budgeted cost of purchases for raw material K for June is 1,212 pounds.

Explanation:

Computation of budgeted cost of purchase for raw material is shown below

= Required production + ending raw material inventory - opening raw material inventory

where,

Required production = June units × required units

                                = 300 × 4 pounds

                                = 1,200 pounds

Ending raw material inventory = 30 % of July units × required units

                                                = 30% × 310 units × 4 pounds

                                                = 372 pounds

Opening raw material inventory = 360 pounds

Now, put these values on the above equation

So, raw material purchase = 1,200 + 372 - 360 = 1,212 pound

Thus, the budgeted cost of purchases for raw material K for June is 1,212 pounds.

A project initially costs $40,500 and will not produce any cash flows for the first 2 years. Starting in Year 3, it will produce
melisa1 [442]

Answer:

Net present value = $2063.1922

Explanation:

given data

initially costs = $40,500

cash flows = $34,500

final cash inflow = $12,000

required rate of return = 18.5 percent

solution

The cash flows is

Year 0 =  $40500

Year 1 = $0

Year 2 = $0

Year 3 = $34500

Year 4 = $34500

Year 5 = $0

Year 6 = $12000

so  Net present value will be express as

Net present value = -Initial cash outflow + Present value of future cash flows ...............1

Present value of future cash flows = (cash flow in year n) ÷ (1 + required rate of return)^t   ..........................2

put here value we get

Present value = \frac{0}{(1+0.185)^1} + \frac{0}{(1+0.185)^2} + \frac{34500}{(1+0.185)^3} + \frac{34500}{(1+0.185)^4} + \frac{0}{(1+0.185)^5} + \frac{12000}{(1+0.185)^6}

Present value = $42563.1922

Net present value= -$40500 + $42563.1922

Net present value = $2063.1922

A company exchanged land for equipment and $2,300 in cash. The book value and the fair value of the land were $105,400 and $89,7
Alika [10]

Answer:

c.$87,400 $(15,700)

Explanation:

Equipment ($89,700- $2,300) $87,400

Cash $2,300

Loss ($105,400 – $89,700) $15,700

Land (book value)105,400

Therefore Assuming that the exchange has commercial substance, the company would record equipment and a gain/(loss) of $87,400 $(15,700)
