This line comes from Dylan Thomas's poem "Do not go gentle into that good night". There, the speaker admonishes his father against dying peacefully, instead telling him that he should "rage, rage against the dying of the light". He presents several examples of people who do not die in peace, but instead rage against their mortality. One of those examples are "good men" who, instead of resigning themselves to their fate, think about other things they might have done, and how those deeds would have given them a better reputation. Thus, they rage against the dying of the light.

Proofread the following text and correct the three subject-verb disagreements.
Softa [21]

Answer:

Answer is in the explanation.

Explanation:

In grammatically correct sentences, subject and verb must agree in person (first, second, third) and in number (singular, plural). The given passage has three disagreements:

1) ...the fate of the diamond were unknown...

Since the fate is third-person singular it needs to be followed by a verb was

2) neither men or conflict have dimmed...

It is a general rule that when we have a neither/nor (either/or) construction, the verb agrees with the closest subject ( in this case the conflict) which is in the third person singular, so it needs to be followed by the verb has

3) ... the twin eighty-year-old brothers suggests...

The subject here is the twin brothers (they) which is third person plural, so the following verb must be suggest

Answer:

Imperative.

Explanation:

There are four types of comments/questions.

1. Interrogative. an interrogative means that you're trying to ask a question. It always ends with a question mark.

2. Imperative. An imperative comment is when you're telling someone what to do or telling them how to do something.

3. Declarative. A declarative comment is when you just comment regularly. Nothing applies to this.

4. Exclamatory. An exclamatory comment is when you're trying to show excitement or a strong emotion
