The asals are ideal for pastoralist activities. The rotational nature that semi arid areas demand is only ideal with herding activities. In as much as the ecosystem is balanced, the areas are viable options for herdsmen.

Yes that's true but everything should be in a balanced diet because even in a vegetarian diet there are products made of milk such as butter,ghee,cheese and many more so if we consume these types of foods also it is very harmful for our health whereas in a non-vegetarian diet fish is very good for health and consuming little red meat is also good so in both there are good&bad effects.

Most of the animals are defenseless, especially when humans fight unfair.
Think about, humans kill lions. But it should be a fair fight, obviously the lion would win. But humans have crafted weapons to harm these creatures a lot of the times for absolute no reason besides greed.
I feel like animals are very defenseless and clueless and humans take advantage to that to the max- sadly.
