Answer:

This is a picture of an aminoacid chain

Explanation:

In an amino acid chain all amino acids ( for example GLY, VAL, or ARG) are linked by peptide bonds. Long chains, also called polymers, of amino acids are called proteins. The enlarged photo is an example of a structure of an amino acid. They have an amine (-NH2) and carboxyl (-COOH) functional group, along with a side chain (R group), specific to each amino acid.

At the equator, there are no
NISA [10]

The reason why at the equator, there are no summers or winters, only wet and dry seasons is : Because at the equator the daytime, night time, temperature and sunlight are moderate.

Meaning of equator

An equator can be defined as an imaginary line that runs from west to east thereby dividing the earth into two equal part.

The equator divides the earth into the northern and southern hemispheres. because the equator is at the middle every thing that is experienced there is moderate, unlike the those at the polar region.

In conclusion, The reason why at the equator, there are no summers or winters, only wet and dry seasons is Because at the equator is at the middle and therefore the daytime, night time, temperature and sunlight are moderate.

What are the steps in filament theory
Inessa [10]

Answer and Explanation:

The steps of the sliding filament theory are:

Muscle activation: breakdown of energy (ATP) by myosin.

Before contraction begins, myosin is only associated with a molecule of energy (ATP), which myosin breaks down into its component molecules (ADP + P) causing myosin to change shape.

Muscle contraction: cross-bridge formation

The shape change allows myosin to bind an adjacent actin, creating a cross-bridge.

Recharging: power (pulling) stroke

The cross-bridge formation causes myosin to release ADP+P, change shape, and to pull (slide) actin closer to the center of the myosin molecule.

Relaxaction: cross-bridge detachment

The completion of the pulling stroke further changes the shape of myosin. This allows myosin and ATP to bind, which causes myosin to release actin, destroying the cross-bridge. The cycle is now ready to begin again.

The repeated cycling through these steps generates force (i.e., step 2: cross-bridge formation) and changes in muscle length (i.e., step 3: power stroke), which are necessary to muscle contraction.

Group the terms according to the subatomic particle they describe.
LiRa [457]

Answer:

This question is incomplete

Explanation:

This question is incomplete but the completed question can be seen in the document attached.

There are three main subatomic particles namely electrons, protons and neutrons. However, the question only discusses two of them; electrons (negatively charged) and protons (positively charged).

A. Found in all matter

Answer: They are both found in all matter since all matter are made up of atoms and all atoms have both protons and electrons (and even neutrons).

B. Negative charge

Answer: The subatomic particle with negative charge (as discovered by R.A Millikan) is the electron

C. Exists in the nucleus

The subatomic particles found in the nucleus are the protons and neutrons.

D. Attract opposite charges

They both (protons and electrons) attract opposite charges because they are of opposite charges and generally unlike charges attract.

E. Moves at extreme speed

Of the two subatomic particles mentioned, electrons move faster than protons because of there lighter mass when compared to the protons. However, the fastest subatomic particle is the neutrino.

F. Bound by strong force

The protons are bound by strong nuclear force which binds them to the nucleus of the atom.

How do this male peacocks feathers increases fitness?
stepladder [879]

Answer:

Researchers also found that the longer a male's tail feathers, the faster he was able to shake them. This effort would require more muscular strength, and might be a powerful signal of fitness to the females.
