1. Positive parenting is a strength-based style that focuses on what's right for the children to make them successful in life.
2. Discipline teaches a child to correct his mistakes while punishment makes the child feel that he or she is a bad person.
3. Active listening occurs if eye contact is present and it is used by parents to have more focus on the needs of their children.
4. Guidance is directing someone to arrive at a resolution during difficulties and an example is when parents help their children answer the assignments.
5. Families and parents can find support in their relatives, communities and government.
