Answer:

$9,102

Step-by-step explanation:

Ingrid Sering sells two types of garden fountains on a straight commission basis. On one fountain that sells for $869, she gets a commission of $174. On the other fountain that sells for $1,260, she gets $252.During a 3-month selling season, Ingrid sold 19 of the lower-priced fountains and 23 of the higher-priced fountains. What were her total commissions for three months

From the question above, we have the following information:

On one fountain that sells for $869 = she gets a commission of $174( the lower-priced fountains)

On the other fountain that sells for $1,260 = she gets $252 ( the higher-priced fountains)

Ingrid sold 19 of the lower-priced fountains)

1 fountain sold = $174 of commission

19 fountains sold =

$174 × 19

= $3,306

She also sold 23 of the higher-priced fountains)

1 higher priced fountains = $252

23 higher priced fountains =

$252 × 23

= $5,796

Hence, the Total commission Ingrid made = Total commission on Lower priced fountains + Total commission on Higher priced fountains

= $3,306 + $5,796

= $9,102

Therefore, the total commission Ingrid made = $9,102

Ms. Hernandez gave her students a math test
emmainna [20.7K]

Answer:

85-86%

Step-by-step explanation:

Make it an equation

You want to find the percent out of a hundred, so 42 is 100 since it is all of the questions and 36 is the unknown percent X

36/42 = X/100

36             X

42             100

Cross multiply

Do math and solve for X

36 x 100 = 42 x X

3600=42X

X=85.71

For a recent year, 38 more Democrats than Republicans represented a country. If the total number of representatives of the count
Fantom [35]

Second question isn't well formatted

Answer:

Number of republicans = 207

Number of democrats = 245

Step-by-step explanation:

Let :

Number of republicans = x

Number of democrats = x + 38

Total number of representatives from the two parties = 452

Tge number of representatives from each party can be calculated thus ;

Number of democrats + number of republicans = total number of representatives

(x + 38) + x = 452

x + 38 + x = 452

2x = 452 - 38

2x = 414

x = 414 / 2

x = 207

Number of republicans = 207

Number of democrats = 207 + 38 = 245

Increasing on the intervals

Decreasing on the intervals
tatyana61 [14]

The increasing and decreasing intervals are marked on the graph and attached below.

The red arrow mark shows the part where graph is decreasing

The green arrow mark shows the part where graph is increasing

There is no end point or starting point for the graph

The graph starts decreasing at -∞ and it decreases till it reaches -2.5

Also the graph start decreasing at 0 and goes to +∞

So we have two decreasing intervals

(-∞ , -2.5) U (0, ∞)

The graph starts increasing at -2.5 and it increases till it reaches 0

So increasing interval is

(-2.5, 0)
