Answer: The growth rate of the company's dividend is 6%.

Explanation:

GIVEN the following ;

Dividend per period(D) = $3

price per share(P) = $30

Rate of return(r) = 16% = 0.16

Expected growth rate(g) =?

Using the relation:

P = D ÷ (r - g)

30 = 3 ÷ ( 0.16 - g)

30(0.16 - g) = 3

4.8 - 30g = 3

4.8 - 3 = 30g

1.8 = 30g

g = 1.8 ÷ 30

g = 0.06

g = 6%

Therefore, to have a current stock price of $30, yielding a constant dividend of $3 per annum at a rate of return of 16%, Then the growth rate of the company's dividend is 6%.

Answer:

The expected growth rate is 6%

Explanation:

The constant growth model of DDM calculates the price of a stock today based on the dividends that grow at a constant rate in future.

The formula for the Price of a stock using the constant growth model is,

P0 = D1 / r - g

Where,

  • P0 is the price of stock today
  • D1 is the dividend expected for the next period
  • r is the required rate of return
  • g is the growth rate in dividends

Plugging in the values provided in the question, the growth rate is:

30 = 3 / (0.16 - g)

30 * (0.16 - g) = 3

4.8 - 30g = 3

4.8 - 3 = 30g

1.8 / 30 = g

g = 0.06 or 6%

grandymaker [24]

Answer:

5.52%

Explanation:

Cost of Furniture= $150,000

discount= 5.25% (120-day note)

To get the exporter's true effective annual financing cost, we have:

150,000*[1-(0.0525*120/360)] = 147,375

=(150,000/147,375) 365/120-1 = 5.52%

Therefore, the exporter's true effective annual financing cost is 5.52%

Where does the 32 come from in cash received for common stock issued
worty [1.4K]

A public company can issue common stock to the shareholders of acquisition targets, which they can then sell for cash. This approach is also possible for private companies, but the recipients of those shares will have a much more difficult time selling their shares.

Multiply the number of shares issued by the price per share. Doing this calculation gives you the amount of cash raised by the sale of the stock. For example, if the company issues 100 shares at $10 per share, the result is $1,000 of additional capital raised from stock issuances.

Which terms best describe sales tax? Check all that apply.directindirectregressiveprogressiveproportional
Gnom [1K]

ANSWER: Indirect and Regressive

EXPLANATION: The Sales Tax is a tax which is imposed by the government on the sale of products and services. This tax is both Indirect and Regressive in nature.

Sales Tax is indirect because it is imposed by the government but are collected by the seller or the manufacturers (also known as Intermediary) on behalf of the government from the consumers. The intermediary then passes on the tax to the government.

Sales Tax is also regressive in nature as it imposed uniformly on the consumers regardless of the economic condition of the buyer. The term 'Regressive' means that the tax distribution pressure decreases as the buyer's income goes higher. The tax burden will be higher for low income group people and will be lower for high income group people.

Ralph Waters owns forested land. The Department of the Interior has declared that a small fruitfly on his property is an endange
inn [45]

Answer:

c. can challenge the determination in court.

Explanation:

Ralph owns a forested land which he most likely purchased for the purpose of cutting timber. If the Department of the Interior has declared that a small fruitfly on his property is an endangered species and prevented the harvesting of trees, he can challenge this in court.

This is because the land is private property and the determination by the Department of the Interior will make the land useless to Ralph. Also the government only has the ability to enforce such directives on public property.
