I find it convenient to rearrange the numbers so that positive numbers are added, negative numbers are added, then the two sums are added. Of course, you can do it any way you like. Your calculator does not care about the order of the numbers you enter.

... = (1.4 +1.8) -(5.5 +1.73 +1.09)

... = 3.2 - 8.32

... = -5.12

Answer: See below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's go number by number.

Rational pretty much means you can put it into a fraction of whole numbers.

The first number is -81,572.

 • This number is rational because it can be put into a fraction (\frac{-81572}{1}) that is made up of whole numbers.

The second number is \sqrt{11}.

 • This number is irrational because it cannot be put into a fraction of whole numbers.
 • Keep in mind that most squareroots are irrational. Especially those that don't equal a whole number.

The third number is 5.636336333

 • There is a pattern so the number is rational.
 • Usually a pattrn means it can be put into a fraction.

The fourth number is \sqrt{16}. This equals 4 if you solve it out.

 • Since we just get 4, that certainly can be put into a fraction of whole numbers, so this is rational.

Which of the following angles is coterminal with one that measures 98 degrees
polet [3.4K]

Answer:

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

You have not provided the options.

But I will explain how you can work it.

Coterminal angles are two or more angles that have the same terminal side in standard.

If you want to find an angle that is coterminal with 98°, you keep adding or subtracting 360°.

98 + 360 = 458 \\ 98 + 2 \times 360 = 818

98 - 360 = - 262

Therefore 488°, 818°, -262° are examples of angles that are coterminal with 98°
