Your baseball team has won 6 games and lost 4 games. If the team does not lose any more games, how many games must the team win

4 0
You lost 4 but you don't loose anymore
You won 6 and you keep on winning more games.
Since you don't loose anymore games, in the ratio 2:1, you would replace the "1" with 4 and replace the 2 with 6+n.
the ratio is currently 6+n:4
Note that (6+n) has to be twice as much as 4.
The number twice as much as 4 is 8
therefore, 6+n is 8
and n = 2
You would have to win 2 more rounds.

Solve this system of linear equations. separate the x - and y values with a comma. 6x+5y = 4
kati45 [8]

Answer:

x = - 1, y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the 2 equations

6x + 5y = 4 → (1)

19x + 2y = - 15 → (2)

Multiplying (1) by 2 and (2) by - 5 and adding will eliminate the term in y

12x + 10y = 8 → (3)

- 95x - 10y = 75 → (4)

Add (3) and (4) term by term thus eliminating y

- 83x = 83 ( divide both sides by - 83 )

x = - 1

Substitute x = - 1 into either of the 2 equations and evaluate for y

Substituting into (1)

6(- 1) + 5y = 4

- 6 + 5y = 4 ( add 6 to both sides )

5y = 10 ( divide both sides by 5 )

y = 2

One of the largest pumpkin ever grown weighed about 3/4 ton how many pounds did the pumpkin weigh
Dominik [7]
1 ton is 2000 pounds, so if we have 3/4 of a ton, we multiply 2000 pounds by 3/4.  This will end up getting you 1500 pounds.  Hope this helps!
