Energy means to do some work. In case of biological point of view there are 2  major type of energy called as potential energy and chemical energy.

Explanation:

Potential energy-

It is a type of mechanical and stored energy which is caused by its position and structure.Potential energy may be kinetic energy, thermal energy, chemical energy.

For example-

A stretch rubber band,increase body weight etc.

Chemical energy-

It is a type of potential energy where the energy is stored within their chemical bonds.

For example-

Coal and wood combustion coverts the chemical energy into heat and light energy.

We know this because, at point W, the ball is in its potential form, it has the potential to roll but it has not yet started to.
