Answer:

The amount of Apple juice poured in each glass is \frac{7}{4} quarts .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The quantity of apple juice in pitcher = \frac{11}{12}

Let the amount equally poured in the 3 glass = \frac{x}{3} quart

The remaining amount in the pitcher after pour =  \frac{1}{3}

Now, According to question

The quantity of apple juice in pitcher - The amount equally poured in the 3 glass =The remaining amount in the pitcher after pour

or, \frac{11}{12} - \frac{x}{3}  =  \frac{1}{3}

or,  \frac{11}{12} - \frac{1}{3} =  \frac{x}{3}

Or,  \frac{11 - 4}{12} =  \frac{x}{3}

Or,  \frac{7}{12} =  \frac{x}{3}

∴   7 × 3 = 12 × x

or, 21 = 12 × x

So , x =   \frac{21}{12}

Or, x =   \frac{7}{4}

Hence The amount of Apple juice poured in each glass is \frac{7}{4} quarts .   Answer
