Change does not occur uniformly in history. Early in the 1900's many people in both the U.S., and the Soviet Union did not have

equal representation or decent living conditions. Between 1920 and 1950 both countries experienced sweeping political and civil-rights changes. It is important to identify, however, that change does not always mean progress for everyone. On your own, search the Internet for a civil rights timeline on the U.S., then search for a Russian civil-rights timeline. In the space below: List three major events that took place in each country between 1920 and 1950. Write a paragraph comparing the changes in each country. Based on your research, hypothesize the reasons for the difference in change. Your response should be in complete sentences and at least 150 words.

US:

-1919: The nineteenth amendment gives women the right to vote.

It was quite a millestone to the USA, the victory tooke decades of protest.

-1929: Stock Market crash (Know as black Thursday)

It was the beggining of the greath depression, it started as a low decline, but people panicked and start to sell all their stocks.

-1945: World War 2 Ends

After bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, Japan Surrenders, finalizing the war.

Soviet Union:

-1920: Estonian War of Independence.

Soviet Union signed the treaty of Tartu, renouncing all claims on Estonian territory.

-1932: Passport systemn was stablished in Soviet Union.

A decree by the central executive committee stablished the Passport.

It was the renouncing on Estonian Territory.

-1940: Winter War.

The moscow peace treaty was signed, ending the war.

I see big difference in between countrys at that time, while USA was in a facet where it was fighting more about rigths and fredom, a serie of events that will form the american future, they were changing their form of living, while Soviet Union was still working to aquire and delimit territory. SU keep fighting about owning and let go lands, you don´t see so much relevant events about fredom and comute between society, while in USA all the events were society related, Market Crash made a huge impact in the country, people were reforming their fredom and changing they way of thinking, making things happend togheter, seem like SU were not interested in their people.

Did the 1920s or 1930s have a greater impact on american life
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

(Hope this helps can I pls have brainlist (crown)☺️)

Explanation:

Between 1920 and 1929, the country's overall wealth more than quadrupled, ushering many Americans into an opulent but unfamiliar "consumer culture." People from coast to coast bought the same things, listened to the same music, danced the same dances, and even used the same lingo (due to countrywide advertising and the growth of chain businesses).

Many Americans were uneasy with this new, urban, and even racy "mass culture;" in fact, the 1920s brought more tension than joy to many–perhaps even most–Americans.

Prohibition. Prohibition was a national prohibition on the sale, manufacture, and transportation of alcohol that lasted from 1920 to 1933 and had ramifications in every aspect of everyday life, from law and economics to religion and entertainment. It was one of America's most significant cultural changes, for better or worse.

The main causes of America's economic boom in the 1920s were technological advancements that led to mass production of goods, electrification of the country, new mass marketing techniques, the availability of low-cost credit, and increased employment, all of which resulted in a large number of consumers.
