The correct answer is :

<em>A. Without the law of the jungle to protect them, they have become lawless and their lives have no order or structure.</em>

In spite the fact Akela ia a honorable leader,some younger wolves don´t want his leadership,partly because they consider him old but mostly because Shere Khan manipulates them to that belief.

Once Akela is knocked down  no other wolf is brave enough to become a leader and the pack goes on leaderless and disorganized.
