Hello!

For the complementary strand of DNA, 36 Thymine bases and 24 Guanine bases would complete the proper base pairing.

This is given by the concept of complementarity. A base in DNA has complementarity with only one other base. This complementarity is produced by hydrogen bond interactions.

For DNA, Adenine couples with Thymine and Cytosine couples with Guanine. So the 36 adenine bases will couple with 35 thymine bases, and so on.

Have a nice day!

liberstina [14]

Answer:

She left Ligase enzyme out of the mixture.

Explanation:

DNA replication is the process of formation of new molecules of DNA from the existing one. This process occurs in semiconservative way i.e each new strand consist of one newly synthesised strand and one old parent strand that act as template for the formation of new strand. replication on one strand occurs continuously from 5 prime to 3 prime but on other strands it occurs discontinuously from 5 prime to 3 prime because DNA polymerase moves only in one direction from 5 prime to 3 prime. Hence in discontinuous strands gaps remained. These gaps are filled by Ligase enzyme.

Requirements for DNA replication:

DNA replications needs

Primers

DNA Polymerase enzyme

DNA helicase enzyme

Single nucleotide binding protein

dNTPs

and Ligase enzyme.

Correct choice:

She left Ligase enzyme out of the mixture.

The allele for brown hair (B) is dominant to the allele for blonde hair (b). Suppose two individuals with brown hair are both he
Hunter-Best [27]

Answer:

10 arrangements, although the parents have brown hair, they have a recessive allele for the blonde hair. The two brown heads can make a blonde or brown and or course even a red haired child. In this case the parents with dominant brown hair have a recessive blonde hair giving them a chance to have 10 arrangements to have blonde hair due to their recessive allele.

Explanation:

Heterozygous means that to have inherited different forms of a particular gene from each parent. In this case the children will inherit both brown and blonde hair genes.

_______________, harmful or helpful, is considered to be the source for new alleles and a main contributor to the diversity of l
ololo11 [35]

The right answer is A mutation.

Alteration of the genetic material (DNA or RNA) of a cell or virus that causes a change in certain traits due to the inheritance of this genetic material from generation to generation.

Abnormal modification of the DNA of a gene, either spontaneously during cell division, or under the influence of external agents called mutagens. This gene is modified to be transmitted to the daughter cells. Some mutations have no effect on the cell. Others are the first step in a long process of cancerization.

Rare are the mutations that are beneficial.
