Hello!

For the complementary strand of DNA, 36 Thymine bases and 24 Guanine bases would complete the proper base pairing.

This is given by the concept of complementarity. A base in DNA has complementarity with only one other base. This complementarity is produced by hydrogen bond interactions.

For DNA, Adenine couples with Thymine and Cytosine couples with Guanine. So the 36 adenine bases will couple with 35 thymine bases, and so on.

Have a nice day!

How can DNA be useful in phylogeny? Question 14 options: A) DNA from every organism in a clade is sequenced to identify genetic
Delvig [45]

Answer:

The correct answer is - option B. DNA sequences from different species can be compared, giving us more information about their evolutionary relationships.

Explanation:

The study of the evolution of a species in a longer period of time and its evolutionary relation with other species is phylogeny. DNA is the basis of the molecular phylogeny of a species to find out the evolution of species.

Genetic mutations, a sequence of nucleotides, and other information of DNA helps in the establishment of divergence from common ancestry. By comparing the information it gives an idea about the evolutionary ancestry of two or more species.

How can heredity and the environment interact to influence the cell cycle?
-BARSIC- [3]

From the earliest moments of life, the interaction of heredity and the environment works to shape who children are and who they will become.

The complex interaction of nature and nurture does not just occur at certain moments or at certain periods of time; it is persistent and lifelong.

When encountering another vessel in darkness or reduced visibility, what is indicated by the presence of only a visible white li
katrin2010 [14]
The vessels use three main colors (white, green and red) where each color alone, combination of two colors as well as the three colors together each has a certain meaning. This meaning is sort of an international code that is agreed all over the globe.

So, based on this code, the presence of only visible white light means that your vessel might be overtaking another vessel. In this case, you should give way to either sides. The other vessel should standby until an action is taken from your end.
