The Battle of sartoga took place in Saratoga county, New York on  September 19, 1777 .In this battle the Americans forced Burgoyne’s army to surrender.During this battle the  major general of the Americans were Horatio Gates and Benedict Arnold.

The battle of Trenton took place in the year 1776,the Americans where driven out of new York by the British.In this war George Washington was leading the Americans and colonel Johann roll was the British and the Hessians. Washington and his troops crossed the river Delaware and made a surprise attack on the Hessians.

The positive effects /outcomes of both these battles are

  1. The french restored their faith in the US Army.Hence ,they rendered military support to the US Army.
  2. The threat of Britisher in New England ended with both the battles.the Americans took over the Hudson river.
  3. This Battle boosted the moral of the Americans and they joined hand with Spanish ,dutch and french against a common rival (Britishers)
