What is the difference between a subjective view of reality versus an objective view of reality?

Social Studies
1 answer:
Tasya [4]3 years ago
7 0

Explanation:

We say something is subjective when it's based on personal opinions, interpretations, points of view, emotions and judgment. On the other hand, when something is objective it's based on fact-based, measurable and observable data.

Some differences are how subjective views are commonly found in editorials, blogs, comments on the internet, the objective is found in textbooks, news reporting, and scientific journals, another difference is on what both views are based on.

Another difference from a philosophical view is that our reality cant be seen objectively, only subjectively because our perception of the world is governed by our senses.

I hope you find this information useful and interesting! Good luck!
