The first to find the length of each side, we have to find the value of x :
(4x) + (7x + 2) + (7x+8) = 154

4x + 7x  + 7x + 2+8 = 154

18x +10 = 154

18x = 154 - 10

18x = 144

x =  \frac{144}{18}

\boxed{x=8}

<span><u>Solution First side :</u>
</span>(4x)m = (4 \cdot 8)m = 32\ m<span>

<u>Solution Second Side :</u>
</span>(7x+2)m = (7(8)+2)m = 58\ m<span>

<u>Solution Third Side :</u>
</span>(7x+8)m = (7(8)+8)m = 64\ m

4x + 7x + 2 + 7x + 8 = 154
18x = 154 - 10
18x = 144
x = 8

Sides:  32 m,  58 m ,   64 m

Y = x + 3<br> 4x + y = 18
Drupady [299]

Answer:

x=3

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

4x+x+3=18

(4x+x)+(3)=18(Combine Like Terms)

5x+3=18

5x+3=18

Step 2: Subtract 3 from both sides.

5x+3−3=18−3

5x=15

Step 3: Divide both sides by 5.

5x/5 = 15/5

x=3

Show that KLPQ is a parallelogram
Alex787 [66]

Step-by-step explanation:

m = 14, n = 12.5

m<L = (5m + 36)° = (5(14) + 36)°

L = 106°

m<p= (6n-1°)=(6x12.5-1°)

p=74°

m<Q = (4m + 50)° = (4(14) + 50)°

Q = 106°

k=360°-(106°+74+°106°)=360°-286°

k=74°

The sum of the interior angle of a parallelogram is 360°
