All serfs throughout England were freed from any further obligation to their feudal lords. If the king did not show adequate care and concern for his subjects, he could be removed. If special taxes were needed, a council composed of great nobles and clergy had to approve them

It’s this way because for A. the enslaved Africans have no control to keep. And the abolitionist are against slavery and they won so they didn’t try to gain control they would have gained it.
B. Abolitionists already have a culture and plantation owners culture is owning slaves.
C. Believed that slavery was wrong and were slave owners I don’t think so. Plantation owners are out.
Enslaved Africans of course thought it was wrong but you can’t physically or protest against slavery if your a slave.
The main issue of the Missouri compromise was at the time Congress was balanced with free and slave states and whichever side Missouri joined, Congress would become unbalanced

While Aztec emperor, Montezuma had a famous confrontation with Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés. He initially welcomed Cortés but, when unable to buy him off, laid a trap in Tenochtitlán. Cortés, however, took Montezuma prisoner, hoping to prevent an Aztec attack.
