Bonjour
<u><em>HOW TO PLACE THE -T- IN AN INVERTED QUESTION</em></u>
<em></em>
<em>"Est-ce qu'elle a lu ce roman ?" </em><em>► A-t-elle lu ce roman ?</em>
<em>-</em>
To put in the inverted form a question in French, you just need to invert the subject and the verb with an hyphen between
Tu étudies le français. ► Étudies-tu le français ?
-
When you use the subjects il, elle, on, you have to place a t with an hyphen before and after => -t- , in order to have an easier pronunciation.
Il étudie le français. Étudie-t-il le français ?
Elle a soif. ► A-t-elle soif ?
On mange au restaurant. ange-t-on au restaurant ?
-
<em>ATTENTION !!!!!</em>
<em>If the verb ends with a -d or a -t, then you don't need it ...</em>
On prend la voiture. Prend-on la voiture ?
Elle finit ses devoirs. Finit-elle ses devoirs ?
-
hope this helps ☺☺☺
