Answer:

1). 8.556 pizzas

2).£1.5625

Step-by-step explanation:

1). dimensions of the tray is 640mm by 420mm which is = 64cm by 42 cm

The area if the tray = L*B

Area = 64*42

Area = 2688cm²

Pizza has a diameter of 20cm

Radius = 10cm

Area of the pizza =πr²

Area= 3.1416*10²

Area= 3.1416*100

Area = 314.16cm²

Number of pizza it will contain is

Area of tray/area of pizza

= 2688/314.16

=8.556 pizzas

2). 96 slice of pizza cost £114

1 slice = 114/96=£ 1.1875

But then 96*x = £150

X = 150/96= £1.5625

What is the greatest common factor of the polynomial expression 2x^3 - 4x^2 + 6x?
iren2701 [21]

Step-by-step explanation:

2 {x}^{3}  - 4 {x}^{2}  + 6x \\  = 2x( {x}^{2}  - 2x + 3) \\  \because \: 2x \: is \: common \: from \: all \: terms \\  \therefore \: greatest \: common \: factor = 2x

Perform the specified operations on the polynomials: Subtract 2x2−3xy+4y2from 3x2−5xy−6y2
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

Solution to the given expression is (x^2 -10y^2 -2xy)

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the given expression are:

P(x) = 2x^2- 3xy+4y^2\\Q(x) = 3x^2 - 5xy-6y^2

To Solve for : Q(x)  - P(x)

Now substitute the value of P(x) and Q(x) , we get:

Q(x) - P(x) = P(x) = (3x^2 - 5xy-6y^2) - (2x^2- 3xy+4y^2)\\= 3x^2 - 5xy-6y^2 - 2x^2+3xy-4y^2\\=x^2-10y^2-2xy\\\implies Q(x) - P(x) = (x^2-10y^2-2xy)

Hence solution to the given expression is (x^2 -10y^2 -2xy)
