- Well first off 'A' and 'D' isn't correct cuz they both don't have a solution.

But the thing is that I don't know exactly what the answer is cuz of the pic only showing the corner of it and such...

Which of the following is not the equation of the graphed line?
ehidna [41]

Answer:

well, we do not have the options here, but we can find the equation of the graph, so the equations that are different from that are the answer to this question:

in the graph, we can see that it goes through the points:

(0,1) and (2,0)

Remember that the slope of a line that goes through the points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is:

s = (y2 - y1)/(x2- x1)

then the slope for our line is:

s = (0 - 1)/(2 -0) = -1/2

Then our line is:

y = -(1/2)*x + b.

b is the y-intercept, and we know that when x = 0 y = 1, then:

1 = -(1/2)*0 + b

1 = b

then the equation is:

y = -(1/2)*x + 1

What is the solution to 3x -2y =1 and 4y = 7 + 3x
Delvig [45]

Given.

3x-2y=1 (1)

4y=7+3x (2)

Re-arrange equation (2)

(4y=7+3x)-4y

0=-4y+3x+7

(0=-4y+3x+7)-7

-7=-4y+3x

Multiply equation (2) by -1

-1(3x-4y=-7)

-3x+4y=7(3)

Combine like terms and solve.

3x-3x-2y+4y=1+7

2y=8

Divide by (2y) and solve for (y).

\frac{2y}{2}=\frac{8}{2}

y=4

Substitute (y) for equation (1).

3x-2y=1

3x-2(4)=1

3x-8=1

Add (8) to both sides.

(3x-8)+8=(1)+8

3x=9

Divide by (3).

\frac{3x}{3}=\frac{9}{3}

x=3

Check your work.

3x-2y=1

3(3)-2(4)=1

9-8=1

1=1

4y=7+3x

4(4)=7+3(3)

16=7+9

16=16

Your answers is x=3 and y=4

A rectangular prism measures 4 feet tall, 3 feet long and 4 feet wide.What is the volume of the rectangular prism?
Gennadij [26K]

Answer: 4*3*4=48

(*) means multiplication in case you don't know.

Step-by-step explanation: When finding the volume of a rectangular prism or cube, you just multiply the length, width, and Height.

Find the value of Z.<br><br> A. 3<br> B. 6\sqrt{2} <br> C. 2<br> D. 2\sqrt{2}
wariber [46]
So you would first find the length of y.

To do that, use the Pythagorean's Theorem:

a²+b²=c²

in this case, c = 3, and b = 1.

a² + 1² = 3²
a² + 1 = 9
a² = 8
a = √8

Now to find z, use the Pythagorean's Theorem again:

a² + b² = c²

where √8 = a and 8 = b, and z = c.

√8² + 8² = z²
8 + 64 = z²
72 = z²
z = √72

To simplify this, take out the largest perfect square, or 36:

z = √36√2
z = 6√2

So your answer would be B.
