<h2>Answer:</h2>

The difference in the two elevations is:

                         101 feet.

<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

It is given that:

Tamika went for hiking with her friends and the beginning of the hiking was: -1 feet

and the highest elevation on hiking path is 100 feet.

This means that the difference in the two elevations are:

Highest elevation -  Beginning elevation of hiking

=   100- (-1)

= 100+1

= 101 feet

hello!

so the difference is 101 and here is why!

you want to minus -1 from 100

100 - (-1)

but because it is a double negative it will become addition

100 + 1

so the difference is 101 feet

i hope this helped :)

Solve this expression 8÷2*5+(6-4)
Annette [7]

Value of expression \frac{8}{2}(5) + (6-4) is 22 .

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Here we have the following expression to solve :

8÷2*5+(6-4)

⇒ (8/2)*5 + (6-4)

⇒ \frac{8}{2}(5) + (6-4)

But 8 = 4(2) , So

⇒ \frac{4(2)}{2}(5) + (6-4)

⇒ 4(5) + (6-4)

⇒ 20 + (6-4)

⇒ 20 + 2

⇒ 22

Therefore, Value of expression \frac{8}{2}(5) + (6-4) is 22 .
