Ensuring the safety of the people after the earthquake struck would be the main priority. Make sure there would be no occurrence of tsunami before deploying rescue operations. I would immediately deploy all of the necessary health equipment and personnel to the affected areas. Rescue operations must be started also to save those who were trapped by debris. Also the removal of live electrical wires is really important.

Concerning relative ages of the shale and sandstone, ____________.A. the shale must be older, according to the principle of supe
nata0808 [166]

Answer: A. the shale must be older, according to the principle of superposition

Explanation:

The layers of the surface of the earth have been formed over a long period of time. Rock pieces, sand and mud from water bodies form sediments and over time the bottom layer becomes rocks. Dead organisms trapped in these materials become fossils and mud is transformed into shale.

Looking at any of these transformed layers of the earth crust, we can conclude on their age and which was formed earlier, thanks to the law of Superposition. This law states that any given layer must be younger than the layer below it. Because shale is formed under sandstone, the shale is older.

What type of diffusion describes how the number of people that possess a particular culture trait increases?
Elza [17]

Answer:

Contagious diffusion is the type of diffusion that describes how the number of people having same ideas or similar cultural trait increases. It is a process by which ideas or a particular culture is spread through population instead o them being actually carried by people to various places. This type of diffusion does not require the people to be relocated from their original places which makes it different from the other types of diffusion.
