Answer:

In series circuit all bulbs are in series.If one bulb gets fused the circuit get broken and all lights will not get power.

Explanation: so basically it’s a rubber band. In the rubber band there is energy or power and if u cut the rubber band once then it won’t connect

A container with 3 kg of pure water at a temperature of 12 degrees Celsius is placed in a refrigerator where the air temperature
qaws [65]

Answer:

100 368 J

Explanation:

Heat lost by the water = heat gained by the air ( which the 'frige works to expel and keep at 4 degrees)

specific heat for water ( in joules) :  4182 J / kg-C

    3 kg *  4182 J / kg-C  * (12-4 C) = 100 368 J

In the two-slit experiment, monochromatic light of wavelength 600 nm passes through a 19) pair of slits separated by 2.20 x 10-5
kumpel [21]

Explanation:

It is given that,

Wavelength of monochromatic light, \lambda=600\ nm=6\times 10^{-7}\ m

Slits separation, d=2.2\times 10^{-5}\ m

(a) We need to find the angle corresponding to the first bright fringe. For bright fringe the equation is given as :

d\ sin\theta=n\lambda, n = 1

\theta=sin^{-1}(\dfrac{\lambda}{d})

\theta=sin^{-1}(\dfrac{6\times 10^{-7}}{2.2\times 10^{-5}})

\theta=1.56^{\circ}

(b) We need to find the angle corresponding to the second dark fringe, n = 1

So, d\ sin\theta=(n+\dfrac{1}{2})\lambda

sin\theta=\dfrac{3\lambda}{2d}

\theta=sin^{-1}(\dfrac{3\lambda}{2d})

\theta=sin^{-1}(\dfrac{3\times 6\times 10^{-7}}{2\times 2.2\times 10^{-5}})

\theta=2.34^{\circ}

Hence, this is the required solution.

A hockey puck with a mass of 0.175 kg slides over the ice. The puck initially slides with a speed of 5.25 m/s, but it comes to a
Neko [114]

Answer:

1.70 J

Explanation:

The heat dissipated is the difference in the kinetic energies.

This is given by

E = \frac{1}{2}mv_f^2 - \frac{1}{2}mv_i^2

v_i and v_f are the initial and final velocities.

With <em>m</em> = 0.175 kg,

E = \frac{1}{2}\times0.175(2.85^2 - 5.25^2) = -1.701\text{ J}

The negative sign appears because energy is lost.

How should a line look like if an object is at rest(stopped) on a distance-time graph?
guajiro [1.7K]

If an object is at rest, then its distance doesn't change as time goes on.

On the graph, the points for each time are all at the same distance. They form a horizontal line.
